I made it! And it was fun, impossible, surprisingly pain free, emotional and rewarding (depending on where you happened to catch me on the course). I'm taking today off to relax and recover, but I just wanted to let you all know that your good thoughts and encouragement worked. I'm overwhelmed by and so incredibly grateful for the outpouring of support I had, both on the course and virtually. The full race report will be coming soon. For now, I'm going to sit around and compensate for the calories I burned yesterday morning!

You did a great job, Kaeti, and inspired many of us who have been casual runners to really reach for our goals. It was great to see you finish strong in the last .2 miles!
Rock on!
Congrats on your finish! Good to see such cheer on the race course.
What a great day for you! I'm glad to hear that you feel good still and you are continuing on with your fitness journey. I'm starting to train for the Minnesota 1/2 marathon in August and I hope I retain your good cheer. What tri are you considering? The Minneman in July is very fun and flat and the Saint Paul tri in August as well as the YWCA Women's tri in August (same day, actually) are both nice.
I am registered for the St. Paul tri — but I might see if I can do it relay instead of the whole thing. My body needs a break for a while! Good luck with your 1/2 training!
